Description

Galas continues her work with our "compact multiflators," this time trying to blow four 9" round balloons up simultaneously. Her initial attempt is marred by a balloon with a small hole, but once that is put right, she digs deep and gives it her all. As the balloons tighten, her cheeks expand enormously. When she takes a brief pause to relax and stretch her face muscles, she remarks "I don't think I've ever worn out my cheek muscles like this!" Coming from a woman who's blow up as many balloons and inflatables as Galas has, that's quite a statement! But as anyone familiar with her work will attest, Galas is nothing if not persistent. She keeps pushing on, and is rewarded with a simultaneous pop of two of the balloons, followed by one more, and finally, the lone holdout.
