Stage One: 12 Lashes Over Jeans. The initial strikes begin with Adam fully clothed. Even through the heavy denim, the impact of the wooden stick is clear, jarring Adam and signaling the start of a long ordeal.
Stage Two: 12 Lashes Over Underwear. With his jeans removed, Adam faces the next dozen strikes in his briefs. The protection is gone, and the sting of the wood becomes significantly more intense, testing the lad's resolve.
