Aiko Nakamura, a 18-year-old Japanese student passionate about photography, mysteriously disappears after entering an alley that should never exist.
Upon awakening, she discovers she is trapped in the Hollow Rooms: an endless labyrinth of impossible corridors, rooms, and environments, where each level has its own rules, creatures, and psychological horrors. To survive, Aiko will need to learn to interpret this world, confront entities that manipulate fear, and preserve her sanity while desperately searching for a way back home.
Meanwhile, in the real world, her family, friends, and loved ones begin an investigation to discover what happened to her disappearance. As unsettling clues begin to emerge, they realize the truth goes far beyond a simple missing person case.
As Aiko traverses increasingly dangerous levels, she discovers that not all doors lead to freedom and that some exits can lead her to an even worse fate.
Because, in the Hollow Rooms... not every exit leads home.
