Description

I sit on a bank of a river after a long hike on a hot afternoon. I show you My worn out Brooks Ghost sneakers. I've been wearing them as My primary sneaker for about nine months. They are well traveled and scuffed up. I show you the worn down soles, the random marks and the rubbed off sides. They are stinky as I baked in the sun this day. I take them off and My damp pink socks cling to My soles. I wiggle My toes and flex My soles. It feels good after hours of hiking. I put the runners back on.
