Two HD 1080p Nikon D810 DSLRs were used with manual lenses and audio was recorded separately via a shotgun microphone on a boom stand. At the time Nikon's autofocus was very poor, slow and continually hunted for focus even when using good quality lenses with a wide open aperture. There are a few 2 - 3 seconds here and there where the footage is not quite in focus. They don't last long and are infrequent and in our opinion do not spoil the scene or the watchability of it.
