The walk was a failure. AVI
While walking in the forest, Elizabeth tripped on a dry branch and fell, twisting her ankle. After removing her sneaker and examining her injured foot, she realized there was no fracture. She put the sneaker back on and tried to continue walking, but it was causing her pain. Her foot was swollen, and the sneaker was painfully constricting. She took the sneaker off again and continued lame and hopping in one sneaker and a sock on the other foot. Reaching the car, she tightly bandaged her foot and drove home.
