Today is very cold, and I want to go out with the car, but I need to warm up the engine before leaving. I'm wearing flip-flops and have pink toenails.

So when I get in the car and try to start it, I already expected it not to start. I keep trying, and after a few minutes, still no sign of life... but I don't give up.

Eventually, the car starts coughing and sputtering, teasing me... It starts a few times and then shuts off, with a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust.

When I finally get it running, I decide to take off my flip-flops to feel the pedals better and give the engine some good revs to warm it up. It still stalls a few more times, but after a while, the engine warms up and starts running smoothly.
