CC - Dirty and dusty wedges
The camera first frames a low, open-topped crate resting directly on the ground. The man is confined inside up to his shoulders; only his face protrudes. His wrists are bound, and his head is braced so that his mouth remains centered in the opening, unable to pull away.
Claudia approaches in wedge sandals. The uppers are light-colored, almost clean; the soles are a different story. A thick sole bears a gray-and-black crust: caked dust and embedded grime.
She places one foot on the rim, then lowers the other sole straight onto his mouth. The filthy layer touches his lips first, then flattens against them. Grains break loose and stick to his skin.
His tongue darts out and scrapes. Claudia tilts her foot slightly to present the full surface area. The tongue runs over the grooves, tearing away flakes of dust and gathering a black paste mixed with saliva. Each pass leaves a lighter streak, immediately covered over again by debris flaking off the edges. The contrast is stark: the sole still caked, the tongue already dark.
Once the first sole has shed the bulk of its crust, she switches feet and begins again. Then she steps down from the crate, settles onto his chest, and rubs the bottoms of the wedges against his skin pressing and twisting as if wiping off the residue until the soles are free of dirt.
