Description

Dr. Hazel's heart is still failing her. After suffering a cardiac arrest in the operating room locker room, she is transferred to the hospital emergency room. Her shirt is removed, along with her shoes and socks. The situation doesn't improve, and she goes into cardiac arrest again. Her colleagues must perform CPR again, with AMBU bagging and chest compressions. Pads are placed on her chest, and the defibrillator delivers the first shocks. But her heart refuses to restart. The doctors continue with the maneuvers, the CPR cycles one after the other. Her heart starts beating again, but the improvement is temporary, and she goes into cardiac arrest again. The doctor's colleagues must resume CPR. More cycles, another recovery, another beat. But then comes a third cardiac arrest, and the heart fails again. It takes another series of CPR cycles and more defibrillator shocks for the heart to restart and the doctor to recover.
