Description

Tara arrives at the emergency room in cardiac arrest. A nurse is positioned over the gurney, performing CPR. She is wearing a cervical collar. She is immediately intubated to protect her airway; CPR continues while the endotracheal tube is inserted. Her clothes are completely cut away. Defibrillator pads are placed on her chest, and shocks jolt her body. Further cycles of CPR and bag-valve ventilation follow. After numerous cycles of CPR, her heart starts beating again, and she appears to be recovering. Examinations begin immediately, and her body is carefully checked. However, her heart soon stops a second time. CPR resumes, accompanied by bag-valve ventilation and defibrillator shocks. More cycles and shocks are administered. After many attempts, she finally recovers.
