MIDNIGHT CONSECRATION
You watched.
Not because you were invited. Not because you were ready. You watched because you could not look away.
This is the rite that prepared the ground you now stand on. A consecration. The temple being made ready. The space being opened. Every word, every gesture, every breath, not for you. Not yet. You were the witness. The one who stood outside the light and watched it move.
And something happened to you while you watched. Something you cannot name. You felt the room change. You felt yourself change inside the room. You did not participate. You did not speak. You simply witnessed and the witnessing was enough.
That was the door. You are already through it.
You just do not remember stepping across.
