Description

This isn’t my usual kind of roll.

Normally, our sessions focus on grappling and submissions, but this time we decided to switch things up. It was actually George’s idea to give something different a try, and I’m glad we did.

In this intense sparring session, I’m wearing MMA gloves, and strikes to the face and body are part of the game. My goal is simple: land as much as I can. But to do that, I need space.

My partner knows exactly what I’m trying to achieve, and he’s doing everything he can to take that space away. He stays tight, closes the distance, applies relentless pressure, and pushes me to work for every opening. What follows is a constant clash of styles—my striking range against his pressure game.

The result? A brutal cardio battle that never really lets up.

Exhausting. Raw. Incredibly satisfying.

This isn't something we usually do during our sessions, which made it feel even more refreshing. A welcome change of pace, a different challenge, and a seriously intense workout from start to finish.

Welcome to controlled ferocity.
