The car suddenly stalled while I was driving, and that’s when everything started going wrong. We began to panic because it just wouldn’t start again. There were cars behind me honking, and no matter what I tried, nothing worked to bring it back to life. Then my friend and I, both nervous, started arguing. She asked to try starting the car, but I kept telling her she was doing everything wrong. I tried again, but my shoes were terrible, so I thought maybe that was the reason the car wouldn’t start. I asked her to switch shoes with me, but that didn’t work either. So she decided to try again, but she was doing everything wrong. If she had done it properly, the car would have started, I told her. But nothing seemed to work. The car sputtered, coughed, and refused to start... we were trapped.
