Description

The day started out as usual. Work was chaos and we were behind two deadlines and to add to the stress my ex-husband called threatening to take me to court and the school called and I had to go pick up my stepdaughter and my stepson because they were in a fight. I wasn’t feeling myself. I had a headache. I could not get rid of, my left arm kept going numb and my chest kept feeling heavy and tight. I really felt off, but my day was too busy to worry about my health.

I left the office and headed straight to the school and I had every intention of working from home when we got there. By the time we got home, my symptoms worsened.

The stress of the day was too much and the pain in my chest, worsened until eventually it dropped me to the floor.

Clutching my chest, I was able to make it to my cell phone to call 911. I could hardly breathe and the chest pain became unbearable. When the paramedics arrived, they performed chest compressions and when that didn’t work, they use the defibrillator paddles. Unfortunately, it was too late to revive me.
