SRW1034 Pippa the Ripper vs Phoenix Starr
This is match #5 from the London Submission Room's 39th live event. It's not often that the Submission Room's owner Pippa the Ripper takes to the mats but for this match, the audience were given a vote on who should be Phoenix Starr's next opponent, and it seems that Pippa the Ripper won the vote. But can Pippa the Ripper also win the match? Phoenix Starr has a clear size advantage over Pippa the Ripper and has been putting in the hours at formal BJJ classes, but let's not forget that Pippa the Ripper has 20 years of wrestling experience behind her and is much stronger than she looks.
The referee gets the match underway and it's quickly clear that this is going to be a closely fought match. Phoenix Starr's powerlifting training means that she is difficult to pin and Pippa the Ripper has to work hard to control her. The girls battle it out for several minutes before Pippa gets the first submission with a figure-4 head-scissors. But it's not over yet. Phoenix Starr is not one for quitting and ups her game.
Can Pippa the Ripper hold onto her lead or will Phoenix Starr's strength be enough for her to turn the match around? There is still plenty of time left on the clock and Phoenix Starr doesn't tire easily.
