Description

Cheryl is in the hospital after suffering a heart attack and cardiac arrest. In the emergency room, she is resuscitated, but her condition isn't improving. She is intubated and monitored while doctors wait to transfer her to the intensive care unit. However, her heart suddenly stops beating. The monitor alarm begins to sound. The rescuers attempt cardioversion with several shocks from the defibrillator, but to no avail. They immediately begin CPR, chest compressions, and AMBU bagging through the endotracheal tube. More cycles of CPR and more shocks are performed before the CPR board is placed under the girl's back. The maneuvers continue, and Cheryl's heart starts beating again. But suddenly, the monitor starts beeping again. CPR immediately resumes, her eyes staring into space, and the doctors continue to fight. Finally, after numerous attempts, she recovers.
