Post festival foot ignore
We stumble through the door, wrecked from hours of hardcore dancing and sweat-soaked debauchery. We don't even bother looking down at you. We know you're already there, kneeling by the entryway like a good little foot bitch, waiting for exactly what we brought home with us.
We collapse onto the couch, pull out our phones and scroll through photos from the night, laughing at inside jokes while you sit there in complete silence. Wolfgang lies next to me - you would do anything to trade places with him. But you don't exist. You're just the carpet. We prop our feet up on the coffee table, right at your eye level, wiggling our filthy toes and letting the dried mud flake off onto the floor. Sometimes we flex our soles or stretch our legs, and our feet nearly smack your face, but we never acknowledge the flinch.
We talk about going to shower soon, but we won't. Not yet. We like the idea of you stewing in our stench, watching us recover from the best night of our lives while you stay trapped on your knees, desperate for a look, a sniff, a command… anything. But we don't give you anything. We just keep scrolling and letting our dirty, perfect feet hang in the air right in front of your worthless face, knowing you're too pathetic to look away. We don't need to speak to you. Your desperation is background noise. Be grateful we even let you breathe the same air as our festival feet.
