Cold Start!
I literally woke up to this—the sound of the Polo cranking, spluttering and repeatedly stalling as it echoed through the garden.
It had been a chilly night, and Jane decided to see how the old Polo would cope with a genuine cold start. No warning, no alarm call—just five minutes of stubborn cranking before this video arrived on my phone.
Entirely self-filmed from Jane’s POV: her hand turning the key, her foot working the accelerator and nothing but the wonderfully raw sound of that reluctant engine trying to come to life.
A completely natural, genuine cold-start struggle. And with colder nights approaching, things could be about to get very interesting…
