Session Notes Strong Response To Pantyhose Triggers
Yes… here you are again, yet another one of you walking into My office, nicely put together, trying to look in control, and still ending up here for the same reason, this little pantyhose obsession you say you want to understand, maybe even get rid of, although I’m not entirely convinced you actually want that.
Because what we do here, if you really want to work on it, is exposure theerapy, meaning we don’t avoid the triggers, we go straight into them, we observe them, we let you feel exactly what happens to you when you’re faced with the thing that pulls you in every single time.
So I let you see it, the sheer, glossy pantyhose stretched over My legs, the shine, the way the light hits them, the movement, the exact details you already know affect you, and I watch how quickly your focus shifts, how your body reacts, how your mind starts to soften without you even realizing it.
And then I take it away, leaving you with nothing but My voice, describing it, letting your mind fill in the gaps, making you sit with the feeling without the visual, just to see how deep it actually goes.
Then I give it back, just a glimpse, just enough to trigger you again, and then I take it away once more, moving between exposure and denial so we can measure exactly how fast you respond, how strongly you react, how little control you actually have once you’re faced with it.
And it becomes very clear, very quickly, that this isn’t something light, this isn’t something surface level, this is something your brain has learned very well, something it goes back to almost automatically.
Which means this wasn’t just a session.
This was an assessment.
